Yesterday the Tucker-Northlake Community Improvement District (CID) Board of Directors held the first board meeting for the year. All board members were present except Chip Cofer. The board approved funding for a railing repair on Lavista Road and replacement of plants at the I-285 and Lawrenceville Hwy intersection. The remainder of the meeting focused on public safety. The board reviewed crime reported in Tucker over the last six months, compared crime in Tucker to crime in nine other cities in DeKalb, and to other cities in the Atlanta Region.
