This month both the Tucker-Northlake CID and the City of Tucker engaged in Landscaping projects in preparation for spring. The Tucker-Northlake CID replaced dead plants at the I-285 and Lawrenceville Hwy intersection. The team from Yellowstone Landscaping removed over hanging limbs and refreshed the pine straw. This work is in preparation for the larger intersection landscaping project that will begin next month.

On Northlake Parkway just outside the City of Tucker, the CID removed several limbs hanging over the sidewalk. This makes the sidewalk more accessible and reduces pine straw accumulation in the right of way.

In Downtown Tucker the City took a significant step by landscaping both sides of Fellowship Road north of the railroad tracks. This beautification project has transformed an area that had been overgrown with kudzu for decades.
