The Tucker-Northlake CID recently partnered with Discover DeKalb to rent the billboard located on Lavista Road, near Infinite Realities: Comics, Games & More. The billboard will be used to promote upcoming Tucker events, such as the Tucker Chili Cook Off and Tucker Day. When there are no current events to promote, the billboard will feature the “Welcome to Downtown Tucker” sign, serving as an attractive gateway and helping to establish a sense of “place” in Downtown Tucker. The placeholder sign also promotes the CID’s new downtowntucker.com website which will feature and promote activities within the CID. It is currently links to news and updates regarding the Downtown Master plan, a joint venture between the City of Tucker and the CID designed to guide the growth and redevelopment of Downtown Tucker.
