On Monday January 12, Anne Lerner was sworn in as the new Mayor of Tucker, Georgia. The room was filled to capacity as outgoing Mayor Frank Auman passed the gavel prior to the first regular City Council meeting of the year, led by Mayor Lerner.

The ceremony also included incumbent council members Roger Orlando, Cara Schroeder, and Alexis Weaver accepting the oath of office for their final terms. RoughDraft Atlanta and Decaturish both published strong coverage of the ceremony.

True to her campaign commitment to be ready to serve on day one, Mayor Anne Lerner took a moment to share a strong and supportive message with Tucker’s business community while working on a forthcoming project with Tucker-Northlake CID Executive Director Matthew Lee.

The CID is pleased to partner with the City of Tucker on projects that strengthen the community and to have capable elected leaders like Mayor Lerner who understand the importance of working together, as Anne says, to “get stuff done for Tucker.”
