CodeRED is an opt-in system that provides rapid notification to residents and businesses regarding emergency events within DeKalb County. Examples include evacuation notices, bio-terrorism alerts, severe weather alerts. missing child reports, and boil water notices.
The system allows users to set up alerts for multiple locations and contact numbers. Messages can be received by text and email. The sooner a notification is sent directly to you, the sooner you can make an informed decision on your response. Select this link to register.
