On May 17, 2023, the Tucker-Northlake Community Improvement District (CID) Board of Directors held the third board meeting of the year at Tandem Bank in Downtown Tucker. Board members Honey Van De Kreke and Betty Willis were absent. The Board approved the March 2023 meeting minutes, the 2023 tax levy of 3 mills, and all CID committees for the coming fiscal year. The Board thanked Gloria Johnson and Susan Ludwig with resolutions for their years of service to the Friends of Tucker Path, and appointed Susan Borchert to the Friends of Tucker Path Board of Directors.
The CID’s Executive Director, Matthew Lee, gave a report on the Tucker-Northlake Livable Centers Initiative (LCI) and the progress being made with DeKalb County Sanitation.
