DeKalb County and the Tucker-Northlake CID recently completed a study to evaluate existing and future traffic operations and safety to enhance mobility for all users along Lawrenceville Highway between Montreal Road and Old Norcross Road. The report, prepared by Grice Consulting Group, defines the existing transportation network and the anticipated impacts of projected traffic volumes on the system in the future.

The report included roadway improvements and access management strategies as well as pedestrian, bicycle and transit improvement recommendations for the study corridor. The CID and City of Tucker will use these recommendations to help inform future transportation projects.

This project was funded through a federal Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) grant received by DeKalb County and the Tucker-Northlake CID.
