On Tuesday November 7, 2023, voters in Tucker elected Amy Trocchi and Vinh Nguyen to the City Council. Their terms will begin in January 2024. Both are longtime Tucker residents and both are new to public service in elected office. Due to term limits, neither Anne Lerner nor Noelle Monferdini were eligible to run for additional terms on the council. Council member Virginia Rece retained her seat on the council with 75% of the vote and begins her second term in January. Following the inauguration of these council members, Mayor Frank Auman will be the only elected official remaining in office since the city was incorporated in 2016.

In addition to elections for city council, the County wide vote to renew the Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) passed with 74% of the vote. This will enable both the City of Tucker and DeKalb County to continue funding transportation and infrastructure projects over the next six years. This will include road resurfacing, trails, sidewalks, intersection improvements, and a new fire station in the Tucker-Northlake CID.
