The Tucker-Northlake CID is expanding its membership! We encourage you to take this opportunity and participate with other property owners in this exciting process to collaborate on improvements in the Tucker-Northlake area.
The CID is leading the effort to bring about and expedite infrastructure improvements, economic improvement, and quality of life strategies for the benefit of businesses, employees and visitors to the Tucker-Northlake business district.
Through partnerships with the new city of Tucker, DeKalb County Government, the Georgia Department of Transportation, the Atlanta Regional Commission, and others, the CID is working to make improvements that will transform Tucker-Northlake.
To join, property owners must complete a consent form confirming they are the true owner of the real property (not just the business owner) and confirming they agree to make the annual investment to the Tucker-Northlake CID.
The annual CID investment amount is determined based on the assessed value of a property. The current Tucker-Northlake CID millage rate is 3 mills. Annual CID investments are made through your property tax bill (nothing is due up front to join). Funds collected by the County on behalf of the Tucker-Northlake CID are used for various projects, programs, and initiatives. All revenue generated by the CID is reinvested back into the Tucker-Northlake area.
