TUCKER, GA (November 19, 2014) – Brad Spratte, operator of the Northlake Festival Chick-fil-A at 3967 LaVista Road, and his wife, Deone, will again operate the Tucker Station Chick-fil-A at 4340 Hugh Howell Rd. in Tucker, along with the Northlake location, beginning Dec. 1. The Tucker Station restaurant, built in 1989, is one of Chick-fil-A’s oldest free-standing restaurants. The couple remodeled the restaurant in 2011, before opening the popular Northlake Festival location in May 2011.
The Sprattes live in the Northlake area and are very active in the community. Brad is a member of the Board of Directors of the Tucker-Northlake CID, a public-private partnership of over 166 commercial property owners working to improve the area through efforts to enhance public safety, economic development and greenspace beautification. He is also a member of the Northlake Community Alliance, Sports DeKalb and the Northlake Business Association.
“Brad and Deone are the kind of leaders every community wants to have,” said Ann Rosenthal, president of the Tucker-Northlake CID. “We were thrilled when the DeKalb County Board of Commissioners appointed Brad to the Board and he agreed to serve, because as a resident and successful business operator, he brings both passion and experience to our community enhancement programs.”
The Northlake and Tucker Chick-fil-A restaurants sponsor numerous local organizations, including Tucker and Lakeside High Schools and many of the area elementary schools. Both are involved with the DeKalb Athletic Department and will, along with other DeKalb County Chick-fil-As, present the Chick-fil-A Holiday Basketball Invitational at Tucker High School this December. Earlier this year, they hosted the Chick-fil-A Battle of the Borders High School Football Showdown at Hallford Stadium where Tucker High School played last year’s number one ranked team in the country, Booker T. Washington High School.
