Effective Monday April 20th, MARTA is suspending service on six of the seven bus routes operating within the Tucker-Northlake CID. Here is the list of changes:
Route 30 “LaVista Rd” – SUSPENDED
Route 75 “Lawrenceville Hwy” – SUSPENDED
Route 121 “Memorial Dr / Hairston Rd” – Extra Service
Route 124 “Pleasantdale Rd” – SUSPENDED
Route 125 “Clarkston” – SUSPENDED
Route 126 “Chamblee-Tucker Rd” – SUSPENDED
Route 133 “Shallowford Rd” – SUSPENDED
System wide MARTA is suspending service on 70 routes. Routes considered critical to essential services will remain open and extra service (buses) will be added to ensure social distancing. New policies on full buses, including seat spacing, will go into effect on Monday.
Weekday rail service will remain open but with Sunday hours. Rail ridership is down almost 80% leaving room on trains for social distancing. For more information, including a map and route listing, see the MARTA press release.
