Yesterday the Tucker-Northlake Community Improvement District (CID) Board of Directors held the second board meeting of the year at Tandem Bank in Downtown Tucker. All board members were present except Betty Willis. The Board approved the minutes from the January 2023 meeting. Board member Charles Dewitt gave an update on the CID’s finances and the Board unanimously approved authorization to transfer an additional $500K of CID funds to higher interest bearing accounts and investments.

The jasmine and azaleas on Main Street died during unusually cold temperatures during the polar vortex in December, and the board voted unanimously to fund their replacement. The CID’s Executive Director, Matthew Lee, gave a report on the status of alley and trail projects, public safety efforts, public works in the City of Tucker, and the I-285 Express Lanes project.
