On December 12, the Tucker-Northlake Community Improvement District (CID) Board of Directors held the fourth CID board meeting of the year at 1:00 pm at Tandem Bank in Downtown Tucker. All board members were present except for Betty Willis. The board approved the 2025 Board meeting schedule, expanding the Tucker Trail Board of Directors, the formation of a Top End Executive Committee, funding for a potential streetlight district, and funding for a public safety assessment.
The Board also discussed the opportunity for limited parking on Main Street. Potentially a two-hour limit. The CID’s executive director, Matthew Lee, presented an update on the CID’s finances. In 2024 the CID leveraged over $10 Million through local and federally funded projects that would not have taken place were it not for the CID. The Board also received an update on the I-285 Express Lanes Project. To access board meeting minutes from the September 2024 meeting, select this link.
